Toyo Proxes T1R
Does anyone on here have any experience with the Toyo Proxes T1R's on their black series? Please let me know your thoughts and experience with this tire set up on your car.
Thank you in advance,
Eitan

A street tire? I'd probably stay away from anything from Toyo, Sumitomo, Kumho, Hankook, Nitto, Continental, etc for BS street use. Kumho and Toyo make some very good UHP tires, but probably nothing I'd put on the BS for street use. Toyo actually has a few good R compound models.
For street, I'd grab a set of PS2s while they are still available.
For track, grab the Corsas.

You should probably post what you want to get out of this set when you ask...

On the other hand, that feature makes them a little more compliant, which helps with ride comfort on the street.
I don't have a BS (wish I did ), but have used nothing else but that tire on my CLK 500 and 350ZR. Overall, a very good performance tire at that price point. I'm a big fan

Assessing the pros/cons of the Toyo is a separate discussion, simply stating that on the street, a dedicated street tire is preferable to wearing them out unnecessarily or having the car slide from lane-to-lane in heavy rain.
