I thought I had closed my deal but the dealer is playing games and I am about ready to move on. This car is nearly identical (sans the Renntech work!!) but I would be buying this one sight unseen.

I am hoping, since the previous owner had mods done that he/she may be on this board. Any input is welcome!

If the dealer is trying to play games, don't play. This is especially true if you have to buy sight unseen. There are a couple on auto trader from reputable dealers as well as CPO'd for less. OT but that RennTech badge is hideous. Oh and the info in the description is wrong. There were 500 made, 367 of which made it to the US (of which many have been wrecked or exported).

Price seems high...

I purchased mine last February...$79K delivered to my door.
Purchase was from a MB dealership and the vehicle CPO'd until August 2012...
Car was pristine well known one owner full MB service history and 5800 miles.

It appears that prices have firmed up but I would think the $80K-$85K should still be a reasonable range for a CPO unit.

Thanks guys. This deal is actually BETTER than the deal I had ready to go until the shipping snag. Prices have def firmed up. The dealership came off quite a bit and I am getting a very good deal on my trade in (2007 Gallardo).

I thought for sure that someone on here would know who had the car before now... but I only posted it a couple of hours ago.

And, yes, that Renntech badge is God awful. It will be coming off!

I would be careful with Parkplace. I have seen a lot of really awful cars from them. I work live and work near by and maybe could help out. PM me if you want.
