Someone tried to pry off my rear CF wing....need suggestions

Yes 650 is to take out the dent, repaint to match, remove old and install new spoiler. Anybody want to buy a cheap stock CF spoiler with minimal damage as a project?

The difference you save you can cover all of your labor. Just an idea, but to each his own.
It's weird because the rear lower diffuser is only $900 or so off parts.com. I don't understand mb pricing at times, it just doesn't make sense.

Should be easy to sell the old one in a CLK forum. The reason they are always on back order from the dealer is that they are made on a per request basis. I went though this before with other people trying to purchase CF items from a BS.

i went to MB for an estimate and they confirmed a new wing would be about $2300.....labor about $650. Not too bad when u consider a story they told me about a CF hood from an SLR who hit a cone while on the track. New one of those is $73,000!!!! The owner sent it up north for repair and it took a few months, but it was a whole lot cheaper.
If you end up getting a new spoiler through your dealer hammer on them to get that price on the spoiler down. When I was going back and forth with my dealer over my spoiler they originally told me they would split the charge of the spoiler at their cost. Don't quote me on this since it was over 8 months ago but I believe they told me half the cost would be $800. Of course I didn't settle for that and fought the long battle and ended up getting it covered since it was a defect covered under warranty. Since dealer cost is around $1600 (what I'm assuming based off what the dealer told me) I'm sure there is some wiggle room.

Maybe the CLK owner who tried to pry your spoiler off, will buy it when you put it up for sale..!

New spoiler is in the mail and should be installed this week. Wondering what the old one is worth. I dont want to get rich but i dont want to give it away either. I have a few people interested but dont know what direction to go. How much did the undamaged one that was for sale recently go for?

If you figure that it would cost 2-300 to fix and the old one went for about $800. Thinking 4-500 for inconvenience factor.
