Yes, CCW Classics 17" fronts and 16" rears, obviously a drag only set-up.

It works, it sucks in lots of air. The guys that designed and built it know what they are going and it 100% functional. One of the reasons it sticks up so high is to grab the air, as you mentioned the air begins to break and rise at the top of the grill but it get funneled straight into the inlets. The hood was designed with one thing in mind, getting lots of cool air into the engine.
