This is going to be very straight forward.

Car is currently located in Ontario, Canada. For those that have seen a CLK Black here, yes, thats the car... the only car, (aside from one other Florida plated white CLK Black).

Looking to get the car flashed to have blipping downshifts. I remember reading about it here before, and never really saw what ended up happening. Did it become a publicly available tune? Does it actually function as it claims to when compared to current FACTORY blipping cars?

With that said, I recall reading about a tuning trip called "Blip Day" (?), if I recall correctly. Where can I get this done? What is the cost? And what is required to tune it.. since the car is in storage do I just need to pull out the ECU or...?

The car is currently being stored so if it's a matter of simply ripping out the ECU, that's no big deal. She ain't going anywhere any time soon.

Yes I found out the individual, exchanged some PM's..

Seems my only option is to ship to Germany. No way I'm going to drive 2500 miles for a tune.

Or, you could just ship the ECU and TCU to them at their next location in the US. I think they are going to Houston next so just ship there and have a few days of downtime. Biggest hassle is dropping the Trans pan to remove the TCU.

When I was told about it, this was around July of last year. I just sent them an email as well... Hope to hear back soon.

Just send your ecu and tcu to Weistec and your done

Well this was EC Canada and I'd imagine you're contacting the US side, which may differ.

Well I have the issue of not having a place to keep the car on a hoist. The pan has to be dropped to remove the TCU, does it not?

Your best bet is to send it to ralf from Germany that's what I did he is the real deal

Infamouz.....Which long tube headers are you going with? I'm debating on getting a set.

@imfamouz @ am bred or if anyone is interested i have a set of MBH headers with about 200miles I am getting rid of.

You will need an x-pipe/mid-pipes but these are great headers.

Only selling as I am going to a different program.

Selling for about 1/2 of new...PM me if interested.

I would really like to get those headers but I barely pass the sound limit at Laguna Seca on stock exhaust....
