SL65, UGR LP650, UGR Scuderia,UGR Superleggera, 850hp CTS-V ect.
It's a nice car overall. It drives well, not sure all the Kleeman mods helped it that much. I drove a stock one a hour later and it felt the same. I noticed it had paintwork on the left side of the car, good work but it has been painted. The main thing I liked about the car were the wheels. They are custom one offs. They look great. The car was sitting outside for a while and when I got in it, it smelled like Crayons. I love the way the BS looks, like the sports car ride and feel but the transmission is something that is keeping me away from a purchase for now. I am keeping my SL65 and CTS-V for daily drivers for now. If I do change, it might be the CTS-V for something else. I have had it about a year and a half and it's time for a change. It's going to be hard to give up a 730rwh 4 door sedan though..

Good question. Seem to recall reading that there's some hair on that one. Not sure if it was this forum or some other. It's dipped into the $40's. But unless it had some sort of undisclosed flood or accident, seems more than fairly priced. At some point ya gotta realize you're buying a $138K car for ~1/3 of the original ask. And this isn't a the high end MB 6.0 12 cyl. that drop b/c of the cost of ownership down the road. I think the CLK BSs get unfairly lumped in to that group. Haven't had any problems w/mine in 1 1/2 yrs of ownership. But the market seems to be talking, so guess ya just gotta accept it. The real deals out there though IMO are some of the ones that have been modded. That slate gray one out in Seattle and Steve B's white BS are steals. Were I in the market for the first time for a BS, I'd have paid up for an example that's been modded. They usually have all the stuff most of us would want to do anyway.

I agree with NYC_Z06 on this idea of buying something already modded. Although you may pay slightly more in the beginning for the car, longer term its still more cost effective than if you were to do all modds yourself down the road. But then again it depends on what school of thought you are coming from about owning cars. One is pamper a garage queen and the other is its built to be driven. I am of the latter but each their own. ;-)

Guys...This car we were discussing in this thread dropped into the $40s at one point with that Texas dealer...but now it's been listed at another dealer and they're asking $60k! Do they really think BS buyers won't do their homework on stuff like this? They're asking 12k more than the lowest price offered by the first dealer (over the course of 5 months). Anyone know what's wrong with this particular car? I would think it's something major, a 29k miles BS not selling for $47k?

I'm not in the market so that would explain my lapse on price history. Regardless, it's a car dealership. This car's a widget to them - inventory. It's the buyer's job to negotiate a sale. Great time to be shopping for a BS, though. Lots of inventory in all colors and mods.

2014 E63S; AMS 100 octane ecu tune; edok tcu tune; BB intakes; dyno tuned
Make sure those rims are balanced and not dinged ... those are expensive to repair. They are the best rims for the e63S imho
