I think they are great daily drivers and lot of people use them for that. Nice to haul butt to work and back and dodge traffic and then use the cruiser for the long weekend trips.

Works amazingly great as a daily. Really depends on your situation, if you have a lot of krappy roads on your commute, it can get old over time. When I lived out in the burbs, no issues. I moved to the city where you pay higher taxes and the roads are worse, so the BS was not as enjoyable then.

Mine is a daily driver (about 58,000 miles), and I enjoy it each time. Our roads are "challenging" in terms of road condition, so I took and hour and softened all four corners. I tend to run the tires about 8 pounds lower than the door sticker recommends, as well.
I have absolutely no issues with the ride when I'm alone. But, if taking my wife to Chicago, we tend to take another car, as some of the ribbed concrete roads do bother the passenger.
The car brings a smile every time I fire it up. I'm lucky enough to have several cars to choose from each morning (McLaren, 02 tt X50, and the Black). I choose the Black most often, as it's the most exciting in normal driving. AS

I drive my CLK63BS everyday in SF Bay Area. Use 'C' mode in traffic and 'S' for everything else. The ride is firm and sporty, definitely not a soft sedan type ride. Nothing like starting it up first thing in the morning or after a long days work... makes it all worth it! ;-)
