CLK63 BS "Project Gremlin"

Hi everyone

Just bought a used CLK 67K KM on it. And looking forward to have a project on her!
Calling it the "Gremlin project". Already changed the followings:

Oil air separator Weistec
pullys on the main belt to Weistec
Air filter Weistec

Took her out on the track today it was 41 degrees C and I have a few questions

One I lost the brakes after 30 minutes ,I had already changed the brake fluid a week ago. (Any idea for brake improvement?, I am looking at EBS)
Two I was running 136 C on the oil but didn't get a limp mode or anything (is this normal? Any ideas how I can improve cooling of the oil)
Three did anyone try track wheel alignment? Any advice?
Last but not least, tires! Any advise on semi slicks Need help on identifying a set of those!

Any ideas for modifications improvement etc would be much appreciated

Upgrading your rotors and pads would be a great solution to your braking woes at the track.

Girodisc rotors and Endless pads would do the trick

Let me know if you would like some pricing.

Absolutely. PM me your email and I'll get you some pricing.

The CLK BS came stock with a 360mm 2 piece front rotor and 330mm 1 piece rear.

I'm coming up on brakes for a 2008 CLK63 CAB and I'd love a PM with pricing of your recommended alternative solutions.

Thx.

if you have problems again with the bake, you can install the 390mm rotors from C BS/SL65/SLS, they are much better.
you only need teh rotors and spacers for the calliper

Many thanks german32er. Actually that issue got resolved by "EPS OFF" better brake fluid and yellow stuff pads. Not sure what will happen now that I am running semi slicks. With better traction I might get brake issues. That will be seen next track day
