for the one in portland - there's some fishy stuff going on with the dealership it was at - or at least it was weird when I inquired about them having it in for regular service. According to carfax -- it was there for services from 7/2011 and on... when i inquired about the VIN - they said they hadn't seen it since 2011 in the service bay. So either she's lying (spokesperson in their performance division) or carfax is wrong. She did tell me it had been in for fuel tank replacement etc.. so i wonder if it was rear-ended?

I agree something is not right. Wonder how severe the accident was to require a fuel tank replacement or if that is even related to an accident. Make sure its not a flood car from the east or south coast. Need to do a physical inspection under the trim panels see to repairs or any evidence of water. I wouldn't pay $50K for it... but it could potentially be a good deal for a much lower price after a thorough inspection.

When I called the dealership today the salesman said it had 48,000 miles

and had never been in an accident -

I told him to look at the carfax - He said it was wrong about the accident -

He said he would check on the accident and where it had been serviced

with the previous owner and call me back in two hours -

Still waiting for his call -

i actually called them too - he stated that it may have been hit in the front end/corner, something like that and that the fender and bumper replaced and re-painted.

That dealership in orange county was a dead-end, like i said before, the person i talked to, there, was really short and allusive. The people where it is now seem a bit more informative, but not much.

also, if you look close at the rear tire picture (close up of the rear) you'll see there's barely any tread left on the passenger rear tire too... so new tires are probably in order - not a biggie considering the color - those led's too... looks like they bent up or cut the mesh to fit them in.

I did notice that maybe the front bumper may have been repainted and not replaced... look at pic 11 and it seems that it bulges sort of off-center towards the passenger side. i looked at others for sale out there, and it seems that it should go evenly straight across.

Next owner is looking at new grills screens and maybe a new front bumper cover. Good catch.

I know this is an old thread - but i was curious if anyone knew what happened with the red one and grandprixmotors? I had spoken with the seller asking him why the price was so low etc... and he also said someone was interested over seas... anyways, maybe it's still in the USA?

I see a black one being $10K over market value, where's the white one?

To me - it seems like the B.S. Park Place

bought at Manheim 2 / 23 for $60,000

and listed at $69,995 - 39,000 miles

caused prices of listings to go up

Most of these listings expired or were removed

and many have been relisted - some several

times since the above sale

I was told that the Park Place B.S.

did not sell and was transported

to Florida but have not viewed

it being listed since

Maybe some new / recent owners

can share what they paid

as to what they offered

as to the original sale price

Thank-You
D.B.
