Pairing an Android phone to the BS

I spent about 3 hours trying to figure out how to pair my Samsung Note to the BS. I read the forums and the Command booklet.

It looks like I will need to purchase a "cradle" to get my phone to work with the car.

Anyone have any words of wisdom?

I think Bluetooth would had to have been added to do that, no? Only option for linking a phone is the AUX line in the glove compartment.

If your car has the 30Pin ipod connector, take a look at the ViseeO WMA1000 bluetooth adapter: http://amzn.com/B00B52LLJ6

I have it on my black, and it works fantastic. Basically you pair your phone to the adapter, which is powered via the ipod connector. Takes about 5 minutes to install.

Thank you shellx, that sounds like what I need. I have another issue though. My car does not have the ipod connector.

Is it possible to add it to the car for reasonable cost?

Are you trying to just play music or leverage the bluetooth for hands-free phone? There are a couple of UHI adapters that are replacements for the MB bluetooth puck that goes in the the center arm rest area. These however will only provide you phone capabilities, and do not provide bluetooth audio streaming capabilities for playing music.

If you want to play music wirelessly via bluetooth and don't have the iPod connector, things get a bit more difficult. Did you check the glovebox for the connector? Maybe the cable is just missing...

I would like to leverage bluetooth for hands free phone.

If I can get music out of it that would be a bonus.
