Hi all,
Just picked up a BS with 6k miles on the clock. Also have a 190 Evo II and a 300 SEL 6.3.
Just noticed the tyres are 2008 vintage so could do with a change! The original Pirelli's look very hard to find, can anyone recommend a good replacement?
I'm planning to track the car and use it mostly in the dry. So I'm after a good track day type tyre like the original fitment.
Michelin Pilot Sport Cups / Supersports / Yoko / Toyo ? What do you guys use?

Do you want a different set of wheels for track day vs. street use?
I prefer the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup or Cup 2, if you don't want to have a set of dedicated track day tires. If you have two wheels sets (street vs. track) then it opens up your options further.

Only got the one set of wheels at the moment but that's not a bad idea. What's the difference between Cups and Cup 2? The Cups are pretty notorious over here for being very bad in the cold and damp how do they go on the BS?

Congrats, use it in good health.
I would recommend an extra set of 18 inch wheels for the track. It will provide you with much greater tire choice as well. Maybe a set of Nitto NT01, good traction and will last a long time (4 four weekends of tracking at a minimum).

Here's a pic from the dealer I got it from in Portugal and tucked away now in the UK. Still not had the chance to register it yet here but soon hopefully!

Which size do you run? I did not think the Michelin Pilot Sport line was available in OEM sizes. I hope that it is! Because that tire is amazing.
