Backseat Aftermarket Option
Everything fits like factory and its completely 100% reversible. The ingress / egress is a bit of a pain though. The kids can only enter from passenger side and
I leave the front passenger seat all the way up and forward so they can enter and exit.
Whoadude - would love more details on how you accomplished the OEM conversion? What was the cost? Did you DIY or have someone do it for you?
I am truly not trying to beat you up on this but you want to put your most valuable asset into a car not made to have a back seat. Explain to you wife how you got into an accident and the kids could not get out and the worst happened to them...seriously. Get a audi S6 TT if you want a fast/refined four dore.

Fits perfect, looks way better than the seat deletes and I also put the battery in the trunk. I did buy the MB CLK car seat adapter and also throw a car seat in at times. We do have a SUV and other sedan for daily duties, but it is nice to have the option every now and then.
All up $600 in the whole deal and it took me maybe 2 hours to do all the work, including battery relocation. I still have all the OEM parts and can reinstall just as easy as putting this in.

Once I had that at home, I pulled out the factory set up and placed everything in the car and figured out what parts I needed to bolt everything in place. From there it was a trip to Mercedes and looking at a diagram of the seats on a CLK 350 I told the parts guy what I needed. Next day I had everything. Cost around $100.

My daughter is 7 years old, and loves riding in our cars, but the CLK63 Black Series and NSX have nowhere for her to sit, so I was considering getting that white car for the rear seats. I have heard both sides of the 'safety' angle, and it seems to be who you feel like listening to at the time.
Good luck in your research.
