Got rid of one BS, looks like I'm getting another tomorrow!

I sold my CLK BS a few months ago and getting around in my daily driver Duramax 4X4 just doesn't give me the same rush after work! I never saw a C63 BS in person until last weekend and now I have to have it. Deals done, picking it up tomorrow with pics to follow. Does this site have a C63BS forum cause I can't find it?

There is no specific forum as for CLK BS, but C63BS use to post in the W204 C63 AMG forum

I know its in the wrong forum guys, but what a car! I loved my CLK BS but this thing gives the same rush but with much more comfort. rear seats, legit stereo/bluetooth/phone, etc. Could't be happier.

LOL!! That is awesome. I fear that the same may happen to me if / when my CLK63 Black Series gets sold. Enjoy your new one! I looks stunning.

I have never understood why the C63 Black Series does not have its own forum. What is the logic behind that?

Congrats on the upgraded BS. It is a rare club and I think once you are in it, it's tough to stay out. I do like the Eagles Hotel California song lol

Maybe because the C63 Black Series is an option package on the C63 AMG whereas the CLK63 BS is a model on its own.

Not sure if that's really accurate. Theres about the same amount of difference between the "normal" CLK and the BS as there is the "normal" C63 and the BS version.

That's true but a C63 BS you order as a 'stock C63' and you put the black series option on it. I 'think' with the CLK63 BS it was an independent series.
Don't shoot me if I'm wrong, just bought my first BS, I'm still a rookie

I think your way off base. The C63 BS is not a bunch of bolt ons. The engine has some forged internals that the regular C63 doesn't have. Bigger brakes, wider track, fenders flares, more cooling, adjustable coilovers etc. Its vwery much the same animal as the CLK, just more refined (and more exclusive).

What we are saying is from a designation stand point if you look at the window sticker a C63 BS shows the Black Series package as an option (P98) whereas for the CLK BS it is not a package.
We do agree both are totally different cars from the base model.

Funny how the 4 year OLDER 2008 CLK63 AMG Black Series was $16,000 MORE expensive than the 2012 C63 AMG Black Series.
