How do you get into dyno mode?

What are the advantages/differences of using dyno mode on the track?

I don't know about the track but...

It is like driving a '67 mustang with a hopped up 289 -

Your foot - the gears - and the steering wheel control everything -

The way driving use to be -

Except for the chance of snow - I am in Dyno Mode

everyday / all day / 24 / 7 -

Thank-You

Well one asked what are the advantages . It completely turnes off esp and abs . If you push the ESP button to turn it off it's still engaged for an emergency thatvibguess the yaw sensor picked up . I've been at track and pushed really hard with the ESP turned off and the car went into limp mode because I possibly exceeded the limit . Later found out the accel pedal was the issue . Error or fault was " ESP inoperative" and shut the car to 5 miles an hour very fast , not a great idea on track . So I never really get into any issue with ABS being needed on track , so I figured I'll just use Dyno mode so that I can drive the car without issue .

abs is the only thing I worry about , when I started drivingtrack days with esp off , I had so much more fun. Car felt like a car should and if I pushed it I knew it . I was exiting corners faster and trail braking lots better . So I'm gonna try dyno mode . I want to drive ,not have the car assist me

Awesome! I'm familiar with that in my 65 GT with a 302.

I have always believed the CLKBS is a refined muscle car.

Did you finally buy a CLKBS D.B.?

I can push it comfortably on the 65 GT as the threshold is much lower and easier to recover. The CLKBS limits are much high and at faster speeds so things can go wrong really fast. So I concur, for me its not worth risking the car IMHO.

I do understand the interference of the ABS as I have felt and noticed it many times. If this car was a dime a dozen that can be found every where I would run in dyno mode, but its to rare (relatively) IMHO.

Much respect to you for driving the car to your full enjoyment, I'm envious!

We have a awesome track here , 23 turns 3.2 miles . If I could turn ESP completely off it would be great . It's the abs that I would want to leave on . But sticky tires i stop pretty fast z
