I am beyond excited with this car. Now comes the wait. Car is currently sitting at the Freight Forwarder's. It will be around a week and a half until it arrives in Jacksonville and then I can take her to South Florida!

That is going to be a fun ride down 95 from Jacksonville to South Florida. If you have never driven a Black Series you are in for a treat. Get off of 95 and enjoy some of the scenery along A1A. Take your time, enjoy the trip, and be safe. 95 is crazy this time of year.

Super exciting!!! Congratulations I’m glad to see many members have had easy transactions on the forums.

South florida is the perfect place for a BS I wish mine was in Miami at times.

I drove it briefly over in Puerto Rico, looking forward to letting her loose in Florida, Definitely going to PPF before though. I have some day trips planned to Palm Beach and the Keys just to enjoy the car!

Thanks, honestly, it was nice dealing with people who knew about the cars.

It really is, just wish we had better driving roads, California definitely has us beat there.

Hey everyone. Thought I’d share some more photos. Picked her up two weeks ago. Here are some pictures in Jacksonville by Mayport. Out of all the stuff I have driven, this has made me feel like a child on Christmas. I always thought it was BS that these were going to be future classics, but now I guess I’m drinking the kool aid

after driving my SLS BS and CLK63BS back to back, the CLK doesnt disappoint. The SLS is a totally different animal especially in regards to brakes, but the CLK is still alot of fun....and alot less stressful to drive. And thx to the world going green/hybrid/electric, these will both be collectibles. There are not many of either for sale in the US.

The CLK and SLS have some similarities. It’s definitely more carefree to drive the CLK. What I enjoy is that very few people take notice of the CLK. Both love going sideways and the M156(9) love getting revd out. I don’t see one replacing the other though. Plus the CLK has so much luggage room!

Congrats on picking up your BS,. I will have owned my CLK BS 2 years this coming June and I still love the car as much as I did the day I picked it up, maybe more. Enjoy it! I am also in FL, Tampa though. We have a few CLK BSs running around my area.

Will do, I come down to visit friends a few times per year. My car started out in life as Black but the previous owner had it resprayed in a unique green finish. My car has some history (people love it or hate it) but I love a good challenge and I am having fun restoring the car. I will never return it to stock because I really like it this way but I am correcting many of the issues the car had. The color was one of the reasons I bought the car because I really like interesting cars that stick out.
Again, enjoy your BS!

No way, you have the green one? I remember when it was for sale a few years back. I love the color. You have a very special car to say the least. Thank you! I hope you keep enjoying yours as well!

Yeah, I bought the green one, thank you. I know many people dislike this car due to it being repainted in a non-BS color but that is what drew me to the car honestly. Since purchasing in June of 2019 I have been working on correcting the issues I feel need addressing from the prior owners. I like to think of it as reconditioning. While a few things needed sorting the moment I bought the car, it really is in great condition. It only had 37K miles on it when I purchased it and turned 40K today. I plan to start driving it more now but haven't much over the past year and a half. I may be driving it to Miami on March 3rd to visit my friends at Curated jerruno93. Have you ever been by their shop?

That green is definitely special. Its always fun to bring them back to life and fix all the little things, doing the same myself. If you do let me know, would love to see your car. I went years ago for an event, but really haven't stopped by to see what they have, I know that they have some amazing toys in there.

I haven't had a chance to see a CLK DTM in person, that had to be a sight.

It is fun to bring cars back for sure! I will let you know my plans once my trip for March gets finalized. The only Mercedes Curated has currently if I remember correctly is a 300SL Roadster with a hardtop. The car was restored at one point previously and is beautiful. I spent some time around this car during my last trip there in August. I believe the asking price was $1.5M. While it isn't a Gullwing, I am sill a huge fan of the Roadsters.
