Those are the max recommended tire pressures for driving at over 155mph. You should look at the tire pressure sticker on the inside of the fuel door. It shows the different recommended tire pressures for different speeds. Recommended pressure up to 155mph is 38F/33R; up to 186mph is 48F/44R; and winter tires up to 149mph is 44F/39R.
Hi hope i'm not speaking out of turn at all but just bought a new to me CLK63BS from McLaren Chicago after they got it from BaT! I wanted to also order that center dash trim piece however Park Place Mercedes Dallas can't source that nor the car cover and gave me no help on the trickle charger. I've noted the part numbers from above but does anyone know what dealers might have the ability to get these bits or any other source?
The center piece between the air vents? Just use some rubbing alcohol and rub it off….it will be a nicer black.
Will try this for sure but the OCD in me wants to do the same thing some of the other guys are and replace that piece. Did consider the carbon replacement but would like to keep it all stock if i can.
Dont get the carbon one if you are going for OEM look.
The centre vent thing, i think is compatible with all W209 CLK. Doesnt have to be a black series. Maybe find one on ebay thats in good cond.
honestly though, i used rubbing alcohol on mine, and it worked a treat. Looks new. And actaully cleaner & better than OEM.
Whatever other one you replace it with, will just end up having the same problem that your having now. (eventually)
Regarding the trickle charger. There is a connection behind the LEFT tail light trim in the trunk for a trickle charger. Its a slightly different plug to a CTEK charger. So what i did is, i just cut that one off, and soldered a CTEK plug to it. That way i can use a CTEK charger. Its the best solution IMO
It might have dropped down to the bottom of that opening.
Did you check in there deep?
over 8yrs of having this car, didn't know there's such a thing, i've been trickle-charging with the hood opened this whole time lol...
upon a quick look, i didn't find anything without pulling off the covers, gona have the do it later when i figure out how to unclip those covers without breaking them..
After reading all the notes above orders A0009822921 from what and exactly as described, just had to unclip “the cover”. Thanks guys.
loving how angry this car is. Also not sure if anyone else cares but I attached a bovee connector to the iPod wire in the glove compartment. Works like a charm and also relays the date from your phone into your cluster screen.

woah the fact it displays on the screen and can be controlled is huge.
Turns out my battery was dead cuz it’s been sitting for about 3 months. So I jumped it with a portable jumper by removing everything in the rear and directly jumping the battery. The positive battery connection in the engine bay didn’t work with the little jumper. I was looking for the rear trunk connector and this is all I found. My shop said they can connect a battery tender wire connector straight to the battery and use a C-tek. I’d rather use a Mercedes tender for collectibility purposes.

looks like the same one but pictures a little blurry. The cap is already removed but take a look at the pictures above. If it’s the same I got my Mercedes online and it’ll plug right in. Agreed why go ctek when you can go oem
