Another new owner - convert!
Well, I am a newbie to this forum as I have been a brand X guy for the past 20 years. I have owned 10 previous BMWs and was preparing to order a new 2013 Alpina B7 when they begin production in July; however, I drove down to the local MB dealer last week to test drive a S63 AMG. Great automobile but a little unexciting for me. I noticed a CLS AMG on the floor, so I took a turn in it. SOLD! It even happened to have the P30 AMG Performance Package!
Drove it Thursday. Bought it Friday. Picked it up Saturday. Now waiting for the obligatory 1000 mile break-in period.
Glad to have joined the family.

Thanks. Never thought that I would leave the "brand x" fold, but I was won over by the fully optioned CLS63 AMG. Making the first road trip Tuesday over to Houston to catch a flight to Hawaii. Can't wait to get her on the open road.

I absolutely LOVE your CLS63, especially with those rims and the painted calipers.
I was strongly considering having my calipers painted or powder coated the copper/gold color of the AMG ceramic brakes, but I'm too lazy...

2017 AMG GTS
love the AMG, drove one last week with the PP, it was a monster! the only other car that i felt was that fast was a panamera turbo, but i like the cls better, i think its a sexier car!

Thanks to all for the nice compliments. I am looking forward to getting through the 1000 mile break-in period and into the driving period. I am quite anxious to see how she stands up to my old Alpina B7. I have included a pic of my former "beast"; however, I have been driving a 2011 BMW 550i with sport package, so I know the CLS63 AMG P30 PP will knock my socks off.
