Anyone have suggestions on a tint shop in orange county that is reasonably priced and does good work. Laguna Niguel MB recc suntamers and they quoted me 395$. Seems high considering i got my previous E tinted in saint louis with lumar for 200. I think 300 is reasonable for the 218 but 400 seems too high. Maybe i just dont know enough about the time diff it takes to tint an E vs ClS. IMO they jack up the price based on the value of thr car figuring you can afford it. Maybe im wrong and dumb

Lol you guys are getting ripped off, it cost me $195 to get a CXP tint (best one available today) at the best shop in Miami for all windows except the Winshield. What I did is that I asked for the price over the phone, he asked what a car I just said a Mercedes but did not specify.. When I walked over there I asked him how much he said $320.. I laughed and told him I just had you on the line and you said $195.. He apologized and got my tints at $195. That's what you should pay.

Go on yelp, that's where I found this shop.

I had great experiences at Campbell Window Film in Huntington Beach. They are a 3M authorized dealer. I only put 3M Crystallines on my cars. They do have less expensive grade of 3M films of course. Ask for Sung and tell him Aaron with the CLS sent you for a special discount.

yeah sounds like a great place you got your tint at, best shop in miami.......the guy Bull****s you with different prices.....seems very honest and legit, too bad i missed out on that one...oh and cxp is not the best tint out there.....then again, as you installer isnt truly honest, u dont really know what you got....enjoy

Wow why so overpriced. I believe I did mine for $185. Sunshield in Van Nuys CA. Guys are great. They use quality tint and they do all the dealerships down here.

Its not just about price. Its which tint they use. Lumar I was qouted $100 less than 3M. I ended up going with the 3M Color Stable 20% tint as I have had great success with it and like the color the best. Lumar is great tint also. Sometimes a very inferior tint can be used and you can pay a lot less.

I wanted to tint my black cls but decided against it because the car is leased and im not sure how much they would charge me on vehicle turn it? But sounds like 3M is the way to go. Have never seen it side by side with lumar.

My car is leased, they wont charge you on turn-in, it can be removed by the tint shop fairly easily
