Anyone want to assume my super cheap 2012 CLS550 lease
SOLD ---- 8/2012
So I just got the car 1 month ago but my new car came in way quicker than anticipated. I do business with a dealer in SoCal so got an untouchable deal and would like to pass it on to one of you. My base payment is $816.06/mo + use tax is 7.75% of 816.06 which is 63.24 total payment $879.30 (all in-including use tax and everything) with 37 months left. Original lease term 39 months with 12k miles/year, I have 1600 miles on the car currently. I am asking for $3500. MSRP is $79,945.00. Whoever assumes the lease would be responsible for the assumption fee which is $595.00 through Mercedes Benz Financial and would have to be approved by them. (easy) At $3500 down a new CLS550 lease payment would be $1000+/mo including all taxes, I am at $879.30/mo all in including everything -this deal is a steal for anyone interested.
Windows are already tinted and I have 20" vossen CVS3 on car which I will also sell really cheap. Car comes with the optional 19's and is built as below:
Your Build
MSRP WITH OPTIONS: $79,945.00
BASE MSRP $71,300
exterior: Black$0
interior: Black Leather$0
trim: Burl Walnut Wood Trim$0
wheels: 19-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels $500
Packages
Premium 1 Package $4,390
The optional active multicontour driver seat features adjustable lumbar supports, side bolsters and shoulder supports, for custom-tailored support. A massage feature helps prevent fatigue on longer drives. Active side bolsters can be set to automatically increase lateral support in cornering maneuvers, or even in the event of a potential accident.

Here are pics of the 20x9 fronts and 20x10.5 rear Vossen CV3 on Hankook rubber 255/30/20 and 295/25/20 offset sits flush with fender looks great, no mods or anything else done to car. As mentioned above the car will come with the stock wheels and you can add these wheels for cheap if wanted. (sorry for poor quality phone pics)

Just to clarify, I guess I didnt make it clear enough, LOL
, the payment of $879.30 includes tax and everything. People , leasing companies, mb financial, etc advertise lease payments then add + tax, title, license, fees etc. My payment is the true payment

So, Let me just clarify. I am giving you $3500 and then take over your payment of $879.30 for the remainder 37 months? correct? I'm thinking about this real hard, might give my Mom my w212 e550, and take yours for myself. Will MB transfer lease agreements to different owner?

You would give me $3500.00 only after Mercedes approved you. They are great to work with apparently so as long as your credit is good it shouldnt be an issue. You would also be responsible for the $595 assumption fee and then yes your payment would be $879.30. Simple. The car would come with the stock wheels (see below) We could make a deal on both sets of wheels would be cheap if you wanted, but if not no problem. If you have additional questions, I just PM'ed you my phone number.

I am so glad you addressed that and I was just going to post something.
So just to clairify and I edited the original post. San Diego has one of the highest sales tax in the country at 7.75% so I wanted to list my base payment;
Base Payment: $816.06 + use tax $63.24 (san diego is 7.75% of 816.06)
total payment $879.30
Most buyers would have a lower tax rate thereby lowering your payment

The cls has a low monthly payment but the cars msrp is 80k and he's asking you to pay 3500 (The same amount he paid). I would probably ask for less of an up front payment from the buyer. Also i know alot up people choose the 12k mileage limit/yr, but i would not want to be limited to keeping the mileage at 900 per month. Case in point he put 1600 miles in 1 month. The deal probably works for many prospective buyers.

I did not get a low payment like his because i paid less down, my msrp was higher, and my mileage limit is 15k/yr. With that ill probably run over. Oh well

Regarding the price and the great deal this is;
No one else would get 9500 off list of an $80k car, I got an employee deal. Therefore, you walk into a dealer put down 3500 on an 80k car you would not get the amount off I got and your payment would not be close to 816.06 + use tax. Those are the facts....just to be clear here. I do not long for even one option that would enhance my experience in any way. This car has perfect options for me.

I am leasing, used to buy all my cars when I was in Chicago bc we got tax credit but in Cali its really best to lease. So the residual on the 640GC is around 64% with 12k miles/year so its about 10 points higher than CLS. The dealer did not have the residual for the 650GC so we assumed the same 64 so hope its there

UPDATE - So the residuals came out for the 650GC and they are 57 w/12k miles / year. They also lowered the 640GC residual to 57. The dealer allowed me to take a 640GC slot and I locked in the 64 residual before the change on Monday July 9, but hope I dont regret lack of power. Lease payment difference bc of the reisdual change and higher price is like 400 between locking in on higher residual 640 or taking 650
