Picking her up tomorrow!!!
Went in to the dealer today to test drive a 2012 Black/Mocha CLS550 and walked out with a 2013 White/Black CLS550. The White/Black was coming off the truck when I pulled in 
Signed papers for 2013 with all options except Night Vision and Parktronic for $5150 off MSRP. After all was said and done $1275 more for the '13. Picking her up tomorrow. Can't wait
Will post pics when and if I can get myself to get out of the driver's seat....

Congrats! I think the night vision isnt that important but maybe the parkatonic is, however if i were in your place i wouldnt care either, its a CLS!

I have night vision & can say it is completely worthless coupled with the LED headlights that are very good.
I loved it on the S where it was in the speedo and a more intuitive glance down. vs the awkward placement in the CLS where it takes over the NAV screen.
It's a party trick!

Night vision was the only option I left out on mine. I didn't see how it would be beneficial.

Picked her up yesterday and absolutely love the ride. The transmission is very smooth even under harder acceleration (very hard not to just floor it but waiting until after the break-in period).
Haven't had much chance to play with her yet but dealer listed changes for 2013:

Added apps (facebook, maps, etc)
Picked her up for $81,084 without Parktronic (always parked in a garage), Night Vision and Bang and Olufsen sound system (forgot that was an option but seems way too overpriced).
Once again haven't really pushed her yet but do notice a little lag in acceleration, assuming the lag is the turbos spooling up (easily fixed by a tune after the break-in).
I'll take some pics and post them later today....

There are many break-in debates in every car forum. Some say engine comes already broken-in, others not. This is very hotley debated in the Porsche world, becasuse even German Tech's are quoted saying the engines are broken in at the factory. Basically, if I own the car, I take it easy until the manual period is over, just to be "safe". Lease wise, I am a little more open.

Them cracked out mongooses though... To the OP:
Give it time the car is going to adjust, and open up. There's less lag now for me then there was in the beginning. Though in the start there was very little to start with. Beautiful car, it does look good in white.

As I mentioned earlier the AMG has instant power and CLS has a little lag. Hopefully like Dabigkaluna said the lag will decrease with time. After reading this and the tuning forum seems like one of the biggest changes people notice AFTER a tune is the disappearance of the lag. Planning a tune in a month or two.
