2014 CLS550 4Matic
After looking around at various cars, namely the BMW 650 GC, 760li etc. I decided to give MB a shot as I've always been a BMW and Porsche guy
Specs as follows:
Color: Dark Grey Metallic
Interior: Designo Porcelain (two tone black and white special order with piano black dash fascia. Quite possibly one of the most stunning interiors I've seen.
Was delivered no more than 10 minutes ago, i'm speechless as its an amazing car. Very glad I made the switch.

Might also mention I bought the car without seeing it and prior to a test drive. The lines of the car sold me. MB did an outstanding job on this one.

BTW I researched the 650GC quite carefully too. There are a bunch of 650 GC owners experiencing tranny issues and oil burn issues. I'm hoping for this MB, us 2014 model year owners should be OK cos it is the 3rd year of the C218 so hopefully all the bugs got worked out in MY12 and MY13.

You're correct on the color - I was just guessing as I was too lazy to look at the window sticker.
After having the car a week - I'm beyond happy at my choice, this is the best combination of comfort and speed.

Good to hear. I just drove mine on winding back roads and it cornered very well even with the suspension in comfort mode. I'm running 18s and all season Contis so you should do even better on 19s with summer rubber. Enjoy.

Congrats on the new car. It looks stunning.
Sorry to hear about the codes. I hope they get it fixed.
It is a bullet proof engine and chassis.
Trouble free for me after 8000 miles and three trips to drag strip and 180+mph on private airport strips. I need to find room to hit 210

Talked to the dealer yesterday - the service director is personally handling this car and my Sales Rep Corey and Dealership GM George at Park Place Fort Worth are REALLY going above and beyond for me.
Ends up the spark plug on cylinder #1 was over-torqued at the factory, so to ensure all is well they replaced the plug and coil pack for that cylinder. Then they are keeping the car for a few days to see if they can replicate any code issues similar to what the car experienced over the weekend which ended up in throwing a second code.
I can't say enough good things about how the dealership is approaching this issue - while its in there I'm getting it tinted and the white leather treated to resist staining. They should be delivering the car Thurs or Friday (55 miles from the dealership), and have promised to pick-up and deliver for any future service issues (with equal loaner). Its good to know there are still honorable people around.

Good to hear the dealer is stepping up. Consistent with what I heard about MB service vs other German makes. They'll do the right thing. Hope it gets returned to you fully restored.
