The 4 maps that are included are:

1. Premium pump gas tune to suit your current mods. Either 91/93/94/98RON (other tunes to suit different grades of fuel are available on request)
2. Race gas tune to suit your current mods. 100 Octane and higher use only.
3. Valet tune with speed limited to 20km/h
4. Your factory stock tune should you wish to remove the performance tune.

On a M278 engine - bench flash means sending the ECU in for reprogramming and hence no option for MyGenius Flash Loader - right?
What is Stage 1 and Stage 2?

Yes, that is right. You will have to remove your ECU and send in for tuning. OBD2 flashing and flash loader capability are not yet available.
From tuning 500/550 M278 we typically see gains of +70-80Hp & +90-110Tq to the wheels from dyno testing. Dynograph below.

Stage 1 suits - No mods/Air filter/Cat- Back Exhaust or Mufflers
Stage 2 suits - Down-pipes
