Resonator delete help!!

Hi Everyone, looking to get rid of the resonators but heard the better way to do it to get a smoother sound is by replacing with an X pipe. Where do i get one? the local shops all say they would you aluminum and I heard only go SS. so where do i get a SS x pipe for 2012cls550?

Fabricate a x pipe for me correct? what about buying a magnaflow 3" x crossover and having them do the rest, would that work?

I doubt the CLS 550 has 3" exhaust tubing, it probably has a pair of 2.25" or 2.5" diameter pipes exhaust at most.
Any shop(Midas for example) should have a catalog to order x pipes. Just about any shop can do that. Check with MBHmotorsports, I think they have stuff for the CLS 550.

Just go to a good local exhaust shop . Try to avoid big names like midas and such. Yes they can do it but most of the time they will rip you off. You dont have to go with stainless but its just better . Aluminum will hold up just fine most people dont keep cars long enough to have that be a problem. Also magnaflow 2.5" x pipe will work

Thanks everyone. Will probably go with magnaflow x pipe 2.5" and then 2.5" tubing. Hopefully sounds good after.

Measure your pipes and then search ebay for the Size X pipe you need, then take to the shop to install.
