'16 CLS400C - New Lease Car
-Designo Diamond White
-Saddle Brown/Black Interior and Black Ash

-Rear Deck Spoiler
-Comfort Suspension for Elegance
Just picked it up this morning and I was not looking forward to the Comfort Suspension as I prefer firm and sporty. The ride home tonight on my windy back route will tell the tale...
Otherwise great looking car and outstanding interior combination. Again I would have not chosen the brown/black combo but man does it look good.

Just picked it up this morning and I was not looking forward to the Comfort Suspension as I prefer firm and sporty. The ride home tonight on my windy back route will tell the tale...
Otherwise great looking car and outstanding interior combination. Again I would have not chosen the brown/black combo but man does it look good.

Well I am happy to report the Comfort Suspension is definitely comfortable and really does a great job at soaking up the bumps. I was also very surprised to feel how composed and controlled it is the corners! 
There is an initial body roll that is probably even a bit less than I expected with this suspension and then the car is very stable and balanced throughout the corner. I am very impressed with the dual personality of this suspension to be very comfortable on rough roads and controlled enough to allow hard and fast cornering and transitions.

An interesting thing is that CLS (with Comfort Suspension) seems lower to the ground than the '14 CLS550 with Airmatic that I had. Its low enough that it almost seems like its been lowered. This is a good thing.

And so far NOT a fan of the Garmin map system on the way it looks and works. Also, the colored traffic info for highways doesn't distinguish between which direction of flow the congestion is... Eh? 
Not very helpful. Wishing I had the MB Command program for maps and directions.

I haven't noticed really any glitches yet (only had for 9 days) but I certainly do not like the Garmin system. Not only does it not tell you what direction the traffic congestion is on the highway, it doesn't tell you what the next upcoming cross street is, its harder to read/use and its slow to react and turn on... Sucks compared to MB system for me.
So what did you trade in for what? You lost me. You must have the crap Garmin system in your '16 CLS as well correct?

and also: are there ANY bad places to take pictures in Oregon? Looks like a beautiful place with all those mountains.......I've only been there once and didn't stay long

Beautiful car and love that brown interior. How is the power and gas mileage in the CLS400? What does the C stand for in CLS400C? Comfort? I am surprise the 2016 CLS400 doesn't come with the new headlights.

The C just stands for coupe (non 4Matic) and was the way the car model was listed in our system. Even though all CLS are considered "coupe" by MB. Interestingly it was built with the Comfort suspension which is not something I would prefer but it is not as soft as I feared, its OK for spirited cornering. Power is just OK for me, much better than some E350s I have had but the 400 is a bit disappointing after having had a few 550s. I would have gone 550 again but there were not any available in our system when turning in my prior 550 lease. Oh and the CLS400s also have smaller brakes than the 550s which is also disappointing to me as they are not as powerful as the 550 brakes.
