Massage and Dynamic Multicontour Seat for Passenger?
I have a CLS550 MY16.
Can anyone confirm if the passenger should also have the Dynamic Multi-contour Seat (active side bolsters that inflate when taking turns)?
Also, does anyone know if the passenger should have the massage feature?
Just trying to confirm that my factory build is not missing anything.
Please advise.

Some more research seems to indicate that only the S-Class have drivers and passenger massage and Dynamic Multicontour Seat. We'll I guess I better start saving up those pennies

Well, a number of MBs have both driver and front passenger Dynamic/Multicontiur seats with massage (that is in addition to S class): SL class, ML/GLE class, GL class, and strangely E class coupe/convertible (but not W212 sedans). Why MB did not allow this option for both CLS and E sedans, is beyond me.

In the UK the E and CLS Class have it as an optional extra (Multi-Contour with Dynamic Seats) or standard on the AMG series.
If buying optional you will get it for both the driver and passenger side, same with the AMG models.

Can anyone confirm if the saved contour button setting has to be pushed when you get into your car? For example i have my seat side and rear bolster settings saved, but when i get into the car it's deflated, have to push and hold my setting number for it to go to my programmed setting. I like my bolsters fully inflated.
Is this normal?

Correct. I have it on both and I freak the passengers out when I turn it on without telling them. Also the automatic side bolsters.

It really depends on the country you are located in. In Germany, the C218 / X218 come with standard sport seats. There are two separate options available:
1. Multicontour seats (driver + passenger!)
2. Dynamic multicontour seats (driver + passenger!)
In some markets the standard seats are not available, in some they are mixed...so it really depends!

Seat Motors
My CLS 250d has a failed drivers seat motor for the seat massager.
Can I replace it with the passenger seat motor for the seat massager, since the massage functions for the passenger are rarely used?
Cheers, Nick
