245/35/20-285/30/20 or 255/30/20-295/25/20???
Hi guys! Just traded my 535xi Msport for 2013 CLS550 4matic. I missed my W211 E63 way to much!
Quick question: I live in Chicago suburbs, roads are fairly decent, trying not to kill my back with the ride quality. What tires should I go with? Just got a set of Rohana's RC7 20" , 9 width, 25 offset front and 10 width, 33 offset rear.
I've been thinking about it for two days and I'm undecided...
Also what brand of tires should I go with?(without braking my bank).

I run 255/30/20 and 305/25/20's on my Vossen VFS-2's I always run my car on lomo m2 with the fronts at -7 and rear at -5 lowering levels in Sport mode. Its still a comfortable ride, once in a while I'll switch it over to comfort mode but that doesn't last too long. If you're looking for less inexpensive tires other then P-zeros, you can look at some FALKENS or one of those other asian tire brands.

With a 10" rear rim, you should go with 285. I am on my second set of Hankook Evo12 tires and they are great (and cheap!). With how fast you'll be wearing out the rear tires, I'd start wtih these and see how you like them. They are quiet and smooth.....

Have you gotten an alignment when you put in your new tires? That will help from eating your tires. Unless you're peeling out off the line, an alignment will help with wear

So how do you like your tires? Are you happy with the tire size (assume you went with the size you mentioned above)? I'm looking at moving up to 20" wheels and have some of the same questions. Thanks!
