This drove me crazy found out it was the backseat seat belt or the front seat seatbelt. Both slopped against door and made it sound like a rattle

I think it is the rear window thing that moves up. Cant pinpoint it unless i sit in the back.

If you search for some of my previous posts, I took out the rear seats and the rear console and put dynamat stuff on both the inside of the console and the floor of the car. Once you do that, all you buzzing/rattling will go away...well at least it did on mine.

It's very likely the rear window shade, extremely common on Mercedes.

Easy fix: get some thin foam/felt tape, raise the shade, stick a small piece on each end in the area where the shade sits when it's down, lower the shade and make sure it seats properly. If it's still a little loose add another layer of tape. This is what the MB tech will do so you might as well just do it yourself and save the visit.

I put some neoprene onto the window screen on the rear.. I think my rattle is coming inside my rear door since the windows arent closing right..

Do you have a photo of what you did? I have the same issue ... MB Techs are looking now but if history serves right they will not find anything

the two plastic pieces behind the seat. it looks like a vent. one of them was cracked and i removed one of the plastic piece and it stop making the noises.
