Smile W218 or W219 Cant decide!

Hi all! Looking at a w219 cls 63 ( 2009+) or a 2012 Cls 550 4matic. Cant decide as I love the power of the amg but would prefer toe 4matic during the winter. Thoughts or opinions? Thanks!
Currently have a 2009 cls 550!

stock W218 CLS550 is almost as fast as the W219 CLS63 with more instant tq. There is also a lot more potential with the twin turbo V8 vs n/a V8, newer technology etc. In my opinion W218 is a better choice for the $$.

I would probably go w the w218. Newer platform, better lighting, turbo, updated nav, and prob cheaper insurance cause it's not an AMG. Plus the numbers are almost neck and neck in terms of performance. Whatever you choose, good luck.

2017 CLS550
I can't speak to the 219 cls 63 (I've never even driven one), however, I just brought home yesterday the new 2017 cls 550. I have already put over 300 miles on it as I experimented with every setting, every kind of road and power maneuvers, etc. - I pretty much put it through its paces short of a track day.

I can say this - it is the most responsive, stable and fun car I have driven since 1971-72 (when I bought a muscle Formula Firebird, four on the floor). But unlike that Firebird, the CLS is refined, luxurious and much safer with all the comfort features I would want. It may even be as beautiful as that 'Bird was too!! Based on only this one day's experience, my advice is get the 218.

I have a 2012 and a 2014. I LOVE them. (Bought one for the wife and loved it so much I tried to steal it, but she wasn't having any of it, so I had to get another one for me). 2012 was the totally new car, so it just makes sense. The "standard" cars have totally creeped up on the older AMG cars for performance.
