An indie shop could also help you- this would be a great intro., also, since you'll want to find a competent local mechanic in addition to the dealer, anyway.

I run a lomo also. Its by far the easiest to use. To lower or raise your ride height its just a series of buttons on your steering wheel. No need to break out a lap top or tablet, like some of the others.

I have it and have no real complaints...other than having to connect a laptop or tablet to load settings. The RT app doesn't seem to remember your settings, so everytime you open it, it resets to default settings. (Im an IT guy, but it could be user error...).
That being said, you only really need to set it once and let it be. You can setup the ride heights based on speed. So I keep mine as low as I can get it and have it raise xxx amount at 5MPH, then xxx amount at 15MPH and so on.
If I could figure out how to get the app to save my settings, I'd really just need two....one for car meets and such when I want it stupid low, and another for everyday driving.

Thanks for the info. I'm trying to figure out if I should go with the RennTech or the LOMO - What are your thoughts ?

Hey all, new to the 218 board, but not mbworld. How low do these lowering modules get your CLS? Low enough to eliminate wheel gap or would you need a coilover/spring+strut system to get that low?

At the lowest setting, my front and rear wheels tuck on the RennTech lowering module. I keep the regular settings to where the wheel gap is removed.
It plugs into the suspension module underneath the passenger footwell.

Are you looking at the RT because of the name?
Personally I like having the ability of lowering or raising my car through my steering wheel. It takes less then 15 seconds to lower or raise the car and its all done through your steering wheel and it reads out on your dash as to what height. I run 305/25/20 in the rear and at the lowest setting (which I dont run) the wheels are tucked. I run the rear at -5 and there is now wheel gap between the fender and the top of the tire.
