I've owned a lot of cars and I can tell you this is the most dead Forum I've ever come across in my entire life....
Anyone know of any better? Let me know thanks .

RRS Supercharged and CLS550 (W218)
Of all the ones you posted I'd go with the Vertini's. I think it's the best looking of the bunch. Have you looked into Vossen wheels? They have some good looking wheels for around the same price range.

I keep coming back to the Vertini though.they are lighter than the savini as well by about 7 lbs each....
Thanks for the reply.

I think if you want a look that says, this is what a classy Mercedes should have shipped the car with, the Concavo CW-12 seem like winners. Those look awesome on this car as a classy choice.
If you want something that's more sport and bad-***, then the Savini... I assume they make those BM15 different on the right and left so the spoke go in the right direction either way? That's cool.
No matter what, I think you're right to go with black machined look as it really augments the style of a black CLS which is mostly black with some silver/chrome highlights.

I love the savinis but the Vertini are 7lbs lighter / wheel and flow forged....
So now what? Lol

That’s nice!
there was someone on here with some Vorsteiner VFF 102s that looked pretty good. They’re a different style to the ones you’ve posted but still looked good

I don’t know about you, but I have a tough time choosing wheels unless I can see a photo of what the look like on the car. Any photos of these last two on a CLS?

Let me warn you - I'm no pro lol! But it should give you some sort of idea of what they may look like.
I'm at work right now but threw these together real quick. I had to grab the wheels from a pic of a Mustang and the lighting was a lot different to your pic.

Man that's awesome !
Thanks so much ,now I'm even more confused as to which way to go. But I'm really loving the 5 star look. Maybe cause it's similar to the cls63 look?
I really appreciate that .
This is so tough.
Wish this forum wasn't so dead, would really like to hear some opinions , lol.

Yeah it's pretty quiet. People tend to keep to their own model forum (I barely go outside the CLS forum) which is a pity really. Maybe you could post something in the general forum, you'd get some opinions in there.
Personally I'm not a fan of black wheels, you lose too much of the detail which isn't what you want when you're spending so much on them. Black bodywork is a tricky one to pick a wheel color for. I'd probably go for something more gunmetal or ones with a polished front.

Gloss black with brushed face .
Only 23 lbs each as opposed to 30 for some others..
Flow forged, yada yada...
Plus... Wifey likes them.

Funny. I'm trying to spend money but neither of the 2 forum wheel companies seem to want it. Don't return messages.
Anyone have a good experience with a company, please pm me.
Thanks

Both sets are nice. I would go w forged over non forged if that were an option. Bending rims on potholes and having to replace is a real pain. Also, saving a few pounds on weight means better performance
.
On on a side note, I find maintaining black wheels just as difficult if not more so than other colors. The dust shows, stains show, and you have to keep the sealed/waxed. They can also show swirls and scratches more. Just my opinion. The again I love detailing cars so i just do what I gotta do to clean and protect them.

Got em!
So here's the rims I grabbed today .
For anyone looking for rims I spoke with Jose A. @ VIBE (Ext. 108) and I couldn't be happier with the great deal he gave me, shipped to Canada.
Super professional, and he was able to answer all my questions with ease.
This is exactly how business should be done.
I went with these rims because I have a Renntech style rear spoiler and the car is going to be low and I wanted a timeless style wheel.
