CLS550 - Thoughts?
Been out of the MB game for a while and my Lexus lease is coming to an end this summer. Itching to get something back into MB and feel CLS550 is best bang for the buck for me. I have my own shop so I can mod the heck out of it but few things I have questions about.
- I do plan on lowering but seeing conflicting info on the suspension.. is it air suspension all around or just the rear? I plan on getting 4MATIC
- Is there any bugs with the 2012 model since it was the "new" design and usually first models have little gremlins
- Does the CLS63 exhaust fit the CLS550 with modifying the rear bumper obviously with AMG diffuser
- Plan on only doing rear AMG calipers, I assume bolts on with new rotors
- Any other suggestions or concerns I should be worried about?

You'll get compliments, often. Get used to that.

I love mine ('13 CLS550 4Matic, Lunar Blue, AMG wheel pkg) I bought it in January with 36k miles, I already put new Continental DSW's on it, and it's time for new brakes which I ordered today (OEM MB Parts - $875/ebay). Next will be a tune - you won't regret it.
Good luck!

Only asking if there any known mantainence should be done at 75K mark? I know my CLS55 had 77k when I bought it and sold it with 135k 2.5 years later. It was a great car with little to no issues. Hoping this CLS is sam!

I'm not sure how much this speaks for the car, but it seems that ours is the only one that doesn't have a ****load of problems posted up all the time on the Forum.
Makes me feel good about my purchase

Probably pick one up over next month or so. I really want white but the lunar blue or steel blue? is really nice options!

The big jobs around that sound like a transmission fluid change at 70k and brake fluid change at 80k.

After doing a bit of search.... S550 is in same price range as CLS550! Crazy how the S just tanks in price year by year. I love the S but I have a feeling I can't do "much" as the CLS. S class is a lot more room

I think that is one thing that's the drawback. I barely speed but get some urges once in a while. My CLS was pretty "agile" but still looking for right CLS.

Finalized the deal. Rate was high at 6.9 at 63 months but I just paid off all my CC's so will refinance in 6-12 months once score goes up!
