New to the C218

Hey guys, I recently sold my 2006 CLS500 and got into a 2014 CLS550 4-matic.
4 days in and I LOVE the HP difference.

I had it tinted already and Rohana RC10's are in work.
Clear side markers soon.
Then I am just gonna run her awhile. I MAY do a tune, but still have not decided.

110000 miles and I had the typical stuff I guess. It just happened within 18 months.
I changed all 4 air struts, the AC compressor, and the SBC unit.
It could have done with some ball joints, but I did not get to that at the time of sale.
Problems that i lived with: rear sunshade became intermittent/ sunroof would act funny sometimes (not just a reset)/ CD player was unavailable.
John

PS: typical stuff of course. I did brakes and rotors.

That's a nice ride I must say. How about some aftermarket wheels? Any idea's what you'd go with?

True but suggesting some $9k rims when someone is looking at a set for $1600 is a little crazy Next time someone says they’re looking at a 2nd hand Merc you could link them to a brand new Phantom haha

I know that I certainly aren’t wealthy enough to have $9k rims on a daily driver! 😂 half of the value of the car would just be in rims and tires!

I went with 19" Rohana RC10's.
25mm up front and 33mm in the rear.

Tint- check
Detailed- check
Lowering module- in transit
wheels- in transit
clear markers- in transit

Think that'll do it for awhile for me.

nice ride... curious how the install process is on the lowering module... is it something you do yourself or something you get done at a shop?

It it's the one I think it is it plugs into the OBD2 port and you control it via the COMAND unit.
