Wheel guys I need help ASAP.

I got my wheels in and went to have them installed.
19×8.5 et 25 front.
19.9.5 et 33 rear.
Rears fit perfect.*
Fronts rub the caliper BAD!. This number SHOULD work according to members, MB, discount tire, and wheel sales, and manufacturer.*
I double checked offset myself. 25mm positive offset.
WHY are they not fitting?
John

It means Rohana didn't make the wheels careful enough to clear the big caliper as MB/Brembo. Even you use a more aggressive offset, the wheel disc is not make to have enough clearance than it wheel rub. The easiest solution is using spacer now. Just 3mm should be enough to clear it. A 3mm spacer will not cause rubbing on the outside if you are using 255/35/19 tire. You can also shave the caliper a little if it only have very little rub on the caliper. If you can take some picture after you put it on and see how it rub, we may be able to give you more advice on whether you should shave the caliper or just put on spacer.

The thinnest spacer I found is 3 mm for the MB. If you could find something thinner, go for it, one or two mm may have correct the problem.

I don't know how they recut it. With a 5mm spacer, the offset will become 20mm. I think you only need a 3mm spacer. Recutting it may not solve the problem. It really depends on the curve of the spoke not only the offset.

It still depends on how they design the disc. Some manufacture will have a paper template available on their website for you to do the measurement before they cut the wheel. Try to search it.

I called and their voicemail is full. I emailed them.
I contacted the company I purchased them from and was immediately told "you mounted them, you cant return them".

That rule about mounting is pretty typical I think. I was told the same. But I had email exchanges with Rohana on fitment before purchase and these wheels are essentially designed for Mercedes (hub centric, offsets, etc). So I have to think something is wrong here... either those are not stock calipers or they sent you the wrong wheels.

That's my thoughts too so I measured them myself. 25mm positive offset. Only thing possible is maybe the back of the face isnt machines down enough? I'll contact Rohana themselves Monday morning.
Can o kn e fo yall take a quick depth measurement of your rotor to the face of the caliper so I can have a rough reference?

Mounting rule is BS. On a set of HRE P40SC's I got the rears were not as concave as I wanted......they took them back and made them the way I wanted......deeper concave...........

Get a spacer for it as harry suggested........or buy a new set of rears.........

Don't be afraid to try HRE, you wouldn't have these issues.

Did they send you also the extended bolts to use with the spacer or you just used the same bolts?

Extended bolts but I ended up at 3mm. Really no need until you start going over 5mm.

So I ended up with a 3mm spacer in front for an end result of 22mm positive and no spacer in rear with a 33mm positive. I still dont know (nor does anyone else) why the 25mm did not work, but here it is.
John
