Did your 2016 CLS come with underseat storage?

Did your 2016 CLS come with underseat storage?

On this review of 2016 CLS400, I see underseat storage in front seats. While shopping for my CLS, I did not see any with underseat storage. Was this an option or is this an early production anomaly?

Just a small storage compartment much like the one in the E class.

This post reminded me that I had discovered this storage area when I first purchased my car and then completely forgot about it. Yesterday, I checked it out again and discovered my long lost $800 Oakley prescription sunglasses that I replaced at similar cost. Now I have a backup.

Yes, a holstered Glock would fit in there nicely. No rattling around.

Very true. When I had my 2015 CLS I could only store a decent knife in there.

2017 CLS550, 2016 HD Roadglide (120ST), 1972 Super Beetle
I have 2017 CLS that I would love to add the underseat storage to. I had them on my 2013 E Class... Does anyone no of a source?
