Where did you get that ? I got two off eBay that were supposed to fit my model and they didn’t. I have the 2014 cls 550 and the ones they sent the pins weren’t wide enough apart to set the emblem in I don’t know if that makes sense but long story short I want that lol

If it helps anyone, I spoke to a parts guy at a dealer and he said the emblem for a CLS 550 is 57MM. Those hood/bonnet emblems and covers are made in different sizes so hopefully this helps someone out. I am yet to confirm for myself as I haven't ordered my emblem yet but plan to do so in the near future.

This is the part number for the direct OEM replacement which only comes in the blue trim.
Emblem - Mercedes-Benz (218-817-01-16)

The important thing to know here is that its a 57MM. I just don't know if its a two prong or how it installs. I'm going to figure that out next unless the guys that already had theirs done can share that info here.

The link below shows a diagram of the front bumper components which the emblem is considered to be a part of.

I went to the dealer today and showed them this post and they looked at me like I was crazy and said they never saw that before lol anyway I’m going to go to different dealer to try again. I also ordered one off eBay a while back and it’s sitting on my desk at the office because it didn’t fit I thought it was a 57mm but I’ll double check

I’ve gotten two different responses to a question to my dealer; is the back of the emblem two prongs or is it the squeeze clamp mechanism? Dealer told me it had two prongs and website shows the clamp type mechanism on 2016

Remove the star on the grill by turning it counterclockwise...it should unlock and is easily removed. Look inside the hole and you should see the two prongs that hold the emblem in place on the hood. Take a screwdriver and push the prongs up until the emblem pops off.
