28, and bought my 2014 CLS 550 4MATIC for my 27th Birthday. It's got the appeal of Mercedes brand class, but with the vigor and potential of a amazing sports sedan powered by a capable TT v8. I think it's perfect for my age range, provided it matches the personality of the owner. I've lowered my car a bit with the lowering module, installed a renntech style 3 piece front lip and the renntech style spoiler both from @RW Carbon . Those modifications, plus the tune from Eurocharged, and a resonator delete? My car definitely matches me, I'd say.

I'll try to get some pictures of the front end with the lip when I get home. This is all I had on my phone at the moment.

I’m in my 40s. I was looking for a C class with airmatic, because Boston roads are crap. I couldn’t find one, instead found a high mileage 2014 CLS550, and took a gamble. With two kids, it’s basically a baby hauler. My wife calls it my old man’s car.

Haha my backseat is the same apart from one is still rear facing. I'm counting down the days until I can turn that seat around! I keep thinking I want to change it out for something a little cheaper to run and that's a little easier to get the kids in and out of but I just enjoy it too much. I think I'm going to keep it and get a tune and some other simple modifications.

I know the struggle well.

We have 3 kids; so as a family we can’t take my car as a whole.

So we have this....

Quote: Welcome to another "old-timer" shortspark! The new CLS is a straight 6, not a V6, but it's not like the M278 engine! My next CLS will be a newer one with the M278 engine (2018 and older). Hope you're enjoying your ride like me! Age is only a number!

In three years my next CLS will be the AMG GT 4 door.

I'm 29. Came from an Infiniti Fx35 which was my first car. I enjoyed the sportiness and wanted something sporty and powerful.

I’m 31. 2nd Benz I’ve owned (W203 C32 AMG). Love it! I’m already thinking about what I’m going to get next. I love coupes or roadsters (2 seaters) but it doesn’t make any sense right now as I have two kids with my girlfriend. However once our oldest has grown I’ll buy her a car and then i’ll start looking into a SL or a GT. I work to hard to not spoil myself lol

24..bought it a year and half ago. Came to C218 from lowered W211 on 20s with E63 front end. Can't explain how good W211 rode on coils and its simplicity. Wanted to go after the E55 when my W211's balance shaft issue came up...but needed something newer as well. Got the C218 on a really good deal, so ended up spending on wheels, lowering, ecu tune for now. RT style spoiler, downpipes should be coming in soon.

AEM Water/Meth injection kits are pulling me towards it. If anyone has done it, I have a few questions.

If anyone knows a link for the front lip/splitter under $200 lol lmk!!! RW lip/splitters are expensive at 400-500.

Haha, my son barely made the cutoff for forward facing. I turned the seat around immediately and my wife is mad at me. I reason I only have in the seat on local road going 25mph, he made weight cut off, he’s in a Mercedes. It’s fine.

48 here, my first Mercedes car purchased back in March. Used to own a 2003 4runner as my daily driver until I sold it last summer. Great car, no issues at all 186, 000 miles. My weekend car was a 2006 Cayman S that I bought back in 2007. I didn't drive it that much, only 9000 miles after 11 years also sold it last year. So far I love the air suspension on this car, will keep it for another ten years. Hopefully the air suspension doesn't give me problems. Did a bunch of mods on it, tinted, JL subs, HR wheel spacers, blacked out chrome, resonator delete, xpel wrap front end, powdered coat wheels, calipers and MB logo door light. Next mod, maybe an OBD2 plug and play tune.

33 and I absolutely love driving it, really was looking for c63 and test drive this 14 cls550 and was blown away. The dark wood interior is what sealed the deal after the awesome test drive. Still need an amg in my life but this will definitely do the trick !!!

Not the best pic I had stuff in the car I was trying different lights for the doors but wanted to show the whole car with the powder coated wheels

Probably among some of the youngest in the subforum at 18. Own my 2013 CLS550 4Matic tuned by OETuning outright. Very fortunate to maintain a comfortable income level to afford this type of vehicle at my age. Rest assured the index funds and TFSAs have been maxed out before any purchases were made. Previously owned a BMW 740iL and a C126 1990 560SEC. Photos attached.
