Active Blind Spot Assist Inoperative
I’ve read all of the past and recent posts about the sensor failures and/or corroded contacts. What I don’t want to do is troubleshoot all of the sensors so am hoping to narrow it down to the most likely culprit so my questions to the group are as follows:
Are there any sensors other than those I see in the bumpers? Anything on the sides?
I don’t believe this issue throws any codes so is there a way to conclusively determine which sensor is inoperative?
TIA
My 2013 was spec'd without bumper sensors but it does have Active blind spot assist.
So the sensors must be in the mirrors. Just my 2 cents worth. Marv
Any literature available Konigstiger?

that happens to my car sporadically as well it hasn’t happened recently but does happen occasionally. I’m also have a problem with the parking sensors sometimes going off and on. I’m hoping when I change the battery it will solve issue.

Nothing in outside mirrors. Here are all sensors. Find an independent to pull codes using MB diagnostics, reluctant to do so most common malfunction, rear bumper sensors.

You are a great resource and provide a multitude of information to the forum members. We all appreciate your help.
My 2013 CLS550 is equipped with 997 Driver assistance package which includes 233, 237 & 238. It does NOT have parking
sensors, however, I'm wondering how it works if it doesn't have the parking sensors (front or rear).
Thanks, Marv
