Thankfully the AMR Brand Ambassador happens to by down the street from my house was able to answer all my questions.
i haven’t had much time to drive it however, it’s “adapting” burples we’re immediate. The power is building. Can’t wait to drive it more

My buddy Blaise on here has one of their upgraded tunes with custom downpipes, k&n filters, and CLS63 exhaust. His is for sure faster than my Stage 1 OE tune, but that's expected.

I have EC tune and the rep told me that they tune with conservative numbers. But if you want a more aggressive tune, higher numbers, they can do that, too. But then he said that might be going out of the territory these engines/trans can handle. The tune def changes the car. It's a day and night difference. There's no way I would remove the tune off of my car now lol stage 2 tune should be coming around this summer for me. And if i get around it, I MIGHT try to install the meth/water kit. But that's a long shot.

Happy you are happy. A tune really wakes the car up. When I removed the tune to take in for service I swear I didn't know the car. When I picked it up I couldn't wait to put the tune back on. Originally Posted by Roop94

Haha yes. There is a major change. This car slipped very little when flooring from idle. Now, tires slip a little even when I floor it from 30 ish mph. My rear tires only lasted me 7k miles lol.
I did remove the resonator and mufflers, but the sound isn't that pleasing anymore lol. So I'm thinking to go cat-less and install a performance resonator to get rid of the drone. Its just the cost of having the downpipes fabricated and installation that's holding me back from it. I think it's est to be around $1,500.

So far so good, I was expecting more low end power to be available however after 3500 RPM and when that 2nd gear hit the back end starts to lose control. Which is exciting. I had my resonators removed and currently running Magnaflow mufflers which sound great but it does have that annoying drone from gears 1-3.. but after 3rd gear the drone goes away. I love the burples. Originally Posted by b6tbfmp

Don't know much about it, but I've been reading other forums that people are using J pipes to kill the drone. J pipe is the shape of J and is placed in the housing area of mufflers. That is if you have removed the mufflers.Originally Posted by Jambert Corpus

Here is the link to this one dude doing it to his W211 E500/550

Usually I've read it being done to domestics cars such as camaro, G8, mustang and so on.
