NEED HELP PZERO TIRES ARE HORRIBLE!

I got a 2014 Mercedes cls 550 4matic with 50k miles on it. Recently changed the tires from continental dsw to Pirelli pzero and all I can say is these tires are horrible. I lose traction even in the dry and i fishtail a lot over small bumbs on the highway. Another problem I have is when I reverse outa my garage I make a tight turn and hear a loud noise coming from the right front tire almost like it’s rubbing. Never had this issue before. Just needed some help choosing a tire that won’t give me that same problem again. Any ideas? Michelin pss seems good but needed some help from you guys.

I’m still on the original tires but as soon as I need new tires, I’m definitely getting the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4’s. I highly recommend to YouTube different tires as each brand/types of tires have their pros/cons.

Can't speak for the other issues, but the rubbing depends on the brand. Some tires have sharp edges that stick out a bit while some are more rounded. So should watch-out for that.

Mine also sometimes catches "air" when going over some bumps and I have felt that on the freeway at one specific spot I drive daily on. I was driving in Comfort mode and changed to Sport mode, now that same bump doesn't effect the car anymore. But I feel like this platform has stiff suspension and I'm always very cautious about it whenever going over bumps at high speed. Idk if that's the tires I have or the stiff suspension itself. I think I have continentals on right now. can't remember lol

I’ve had these Michelin pilot sports 4s for about 1200 miles and they are absolutely awesome compared to any other tire I’ve had. The grip is insane compared to the previous two sets of Yokos I’ve had. Today I had rain and an open road after a stop light and no spin, all grip even while turning in the rain it was way better. I’m in Florida so the spin on my previous tires all the time was making me so upset especially when they were brand new. As long as these hold up I won’t buy any other tire.

Went through 3 sets of the PZeros. They sucked. Only got them because of the name and the warranty my tire shop kept honoring. Go to the Pilot Sports. You'll appreciate the ride so much more but make sure your alignment is good right after the install.

Got Bridgestone Potenza RE980 all seasons on the front and OEM Conti Pro Contact all seasons on the rear. Been pretty happy but the Potenzas hum a little at 50 mph. So I drive at 40 or 60+ and not 50. Running 18 inch OEM AMG rims BTW

Absolutely agree. Yesterday in a medium-small rain I'M almost crashed my CLS turning up to the highway at a very low speed. The front (hankook S1evo3) Griped like its glue. And the bak, the P zero is suddenly slipped, like the road is icy. Horrible expereience. i'm used to drift for fun, but this instant and unexpected grip loss was never experienced. P zero in wet is totally bad, easy to crash your car. AVOID IT. And even my weak 220d can wheelspin it in wet roads, like a 600hp driftcar... (with ESP ON ) worst tyre I've ever tryed.
