Looking for a 2012 cls550 tune
I've been really wanting a stage 2 burble from eurocharged, but they have quoted me around $4000 for it all.
Is there any where else i can find a cheaper price for similar output?

Nope im close to Toronto Ontario.
Is it tricky to self install ecu tune?
i want burble but i understand i need to go catless and upgrade sparks

Ohh so I guess you took your vehicle to Eurocharged Canada then? They're more expensive. If I were you, contact Eurocharged Houston for the stage 2 tune and ask if you need to go catless, because I believe for renntech's tune you don't. For a burble tune, you don't need to go catless, but they do recommend it because it could damage the cats in the long run or an oxygen sensor. Most people don't run into problems with a burble tune unless it's been years usually. Installing the tune is super easy, takes 6 minutes to install the file or to switch back to stock with the handheld.
i havent gone yet because its way way to expensive for me right now.
at the moment i had muffler + res delete, and low gear and high rpm i get some crackle.
if i added a stage 1, would this increase the pops?

Stage 1 itself won't give you pops, but you have to specifically request then to add pops/bangs/burbles. I have a stage 1 file without burbles, then a stage 1 file with burbles.

Try OETuning, I got a great price on a tune for my CLS and they offer the burble add on for only $100.00 more. Also when I got my tune they were having a special, out the door for less than a grand. What a difference it made in power. Its a different car! They usually have posts on here for specials.
