2014 CLS 550 (non-4Matic) almost exactly same miles as you - ~94k?
Had a few repairs/maintenance items covered at the MB dealership via my seller's warranty immediately after picking it up. I !@#$ing love this car! Still not 100% used to how large/wide the vehicle is, but probably because I am incredibly and anxiously careful driving my new baby beast. Took these photos a few days ago.
Appriciate everyone's comments, the car is exactly what I wanted, I can't the smile off my face everytime I drive it.
I have done couple things such as badge and chrome delete, tinted all around, powder coated the rims, got spacers and tinted the headlight/tailight.
With the lowering links on their way, will do another post with all the updates.
Quick sneak peak:
Sweeter!
I live in Mass and window tinting is strict here. 35% max. all windows but windshield.
There are a couple features that I don't care for. ECO "normally on" and the fact that the transmission setting (E-S) will not stay in "S". My '09 CLS550 did.
Otherwise, even the police can't wipe the smile off my face!
Can I ask:
1) Why you powder coated (vs paint) your wheels? and
2) Are you on factory wheels and used spacers to get the wheels further out?
I don't have an issue where it does not stay on Sport.
As for poweder coat it is more resistant to chips and cracks better overall, thats why it is more expensive.
Those are factory 19 inch AMG wheels with spacers 15mm up front and 25mm in the rear. Thinking of getting wider and thicker tires for better grip and meaner look.
For anyone with yellow front indicator lights, you need led indicator lights on your fenders instead of the stock yellow! They make a world of difference. Check out eBay.
