New CLS Owner!
Hi All, new 2014 CLS 550 owner here! This particular vehicle seems to have some red LEDs in the head lamps that seem to never turn off while the car is off. Is there a way to turn these off?
Thanks much!

Yeah, this thing is pretty nuts. Been out driving it around. My wife has dubbed it "The Demon" due to the red eyes. The battery is the concern and so far has been good, but it's realistically still day 1.
Here are a couple more pics:

I'm sure some will hate it on here but I think it's kind of cool. That's the most aggressive version of that kit I've ever seen.
Are the red lights in the low beam or that side marker area?

I realize that its not for everyone, but it was eye catching enough for me to bring it home regardless of obvious mods done outside and most likely in. Full description from the dealer below.
Red lights are in the low beam I believe.

There might be a 2nd light put in there...
Check if there are any wires coming out from the back of the housing, I don't think that's from the actual lowbeam bulb (but it is in the lowbeam housing)

It just be small leds put in there as parking lights. I bet they draw so little you can go quite a while before worrying about the battery. If you daily drive you're fine, but I would want control over that personally.
You will have to dig in and figure out how the PO installed it, then modify it to work the way you want.

Thanks all! Did some poking around the engine bey a bit and found all these gizmos with QR codes on Them that when scanned led me to the Google Store to install a couple of apps called "HappyLighting" and "LED LAMP". from these apps I could connect to bluetooth receivers and control the lights. Also found out that the PO has lighting under the vehicle as well. This thing is like a puzzle!

Ah, well thats pretty cool then, because they are rgb, but you can also do strobe effects and stuff.

Took some more photos. New beast vs old beast. Would love to make the CLS orange at some point. Wrap or paint? Trying to figure out the keyless go thing and if I can get a new push to start button.

Are you planning on bigger wheels? That's a lot of wheel well! That thing looks pretty cool
I wrapped a car once in a flat orange, but took it off after 110 days lol. Car was originally black.

Right now I'm good with the wheels. I also had the car raised as I was showing that the car has a feature to do that.
Man I love that look! Why did you take it off? I found a 2012 CLS that was orange wrapped on a white base, but really wanted AWD for the Chicago streets.

Honestly I just got tired of the color. It was relatively 'inexpensive' as it was that particular shops first time wrapping an entire car so I disn't mind. but it was pretty cool for the short time I had it on there

Well it's remaining as is for now. Gotta save back up for a color change. Any idea on cost of a wrap on these vehicles?
I ended up getting a push button off Amazon and it seems to work with one of the keys, so that's good I guess. Been running into issues where if I haven't used the CLS in a couple of days the push button won't turn the engine over and it takes a couple of cranks on the key to get it started. Maybe needs a new battery?
Also just ran into an issue where I got it started up, popped it into drive and it did not engage. I ended up stopping then starting the engine again then was able to get it in gear.
I do like to pick "special" cars. The Grand Prix i had before had been modded by the previous owner. 10 years later and multiple auto shops and we still never solved the over heating issue. So long as it was moving it was fine.. I'm a glutton for punishment.
