CLS550 Brake Pads and Rotors
Hi all,
I'm looking for Zimmerman coated rotors and akebono pads for front brakes of cls550. I'm having trouble finding the appropriate ones. Does anyone know the part number from those brands that works?
I have this same combo on my w204 and it's extremely low brake dust.
Thanks!

Here are MB part #s. Enter part # 0074205820 for pads, “disk” for rotors (0004211812 not found) here: https://www.fcpeuro.com/Mercedes~Benz-parts/ will pull compatible aftermarket brands.

Thanks, tried FCP but they don't sell zimmerman or akebono for them.
I guess I'm not sure if they even make them...
Any recommended brands other than OEM? Looking for ceramic pads.

Ah, should have clarified. Upgrading with 550 calipers.
I found Zimmerman rotors for the E550. Dimensions are the same so there should be no difference....?
360x36mm EDIT: Offset is different.
https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/mer...man-0004212012
I found ceramic brembo pads, fitment confirmed on brembo website (out of stock), only place I see them available for now is this website...
Maybe sketch? Not sure...
EDIT: Found them on amazon/ebay. Part number for ceramics: P50098N part number for standard: P50098
Small caliper discussion: https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-c...new-550-a.html
EDIT AGAIN: These rotors are same size as w204 c63...which makes me wonder if I can put 550 calipers/setup on my c300...definitely not necessary for that car though, has great brakes...

Looks like the center of the rotor is too "deep" thus preventing the caliper from sliding in between the rotor and the support bracket (from which 2 bolts are placed.)
I see people on E350's adding these all the time without this issue - what could be wrong?

Looks like 10mm offset difference with E class vs CLS rotors.

To follow up, since everyone that has done this upgrade has an E class (since this is not necessarily a prevalent ugprade with the W218 due to majority being 550's) the E-class front rotors have different offsets as shown here
by another individual from the E class section.
13/'14 E550, 360mm 64.5mm offset rotor.
'13 CLS550, 360mm, 51.4mm offset rotor.
So if you have a CLS, you must get the CLS550 brake rotors, and vice versa for E class. Otherwise, you won't be able to fit the caliper due to the offset.
You can also use the part number to buy the rotor.
