CLS Aux

I am thinking of placing an order for an CLS 500 but I was wondering if anyoen here knows if the CLS has an AUX in plug/port so I could connect my mp3 player and play it through the audio system???

there is an AUX option on the command, suppsoedly the cable is in the glove box, but i have not verified. im not sure if u have an ipod, but have u seen the new ipod integration option that will be available from MB soon??

Yes it has one in the glove compartment and I use it everyday to play my IPod.You can't change from song to song but can ajust the volume.

just wait for iPod integration then, and you can do both from the wheel!

the integration aspect would be great. wish they had thought enough in advance to supply that with this year's model. i use a new iRiver H10 through the AUX port and it works well.

youll be able to add it as a dealer installable option, so not that bad, but would have been nice to get it straight from MB that way.

I went to look at the cls at the beverly hills merc dealer again and I do not see any cable in the glove compartment. However, I saw a small port in the middle of the golove comparment. Is that the AUX port? I did not bring my digi cam, so I do nto have any pictures. Sorry.
