Navigation upgrade question?

Can the dvd nav be added to the CLS simply, or is it a complicated process?

Depends who is defining "simply". We think it is pretty simple to add the navigation. The car should be reprogrammed so that all the navigation features are active and that the diagnostics work properly. Naturally any dealership can also do the install complete with reprogramming.

Nav System Dealer installed

As I understand it in the US the Nav System can be installed or uninstalled by the dealer. That is, if a car for sale has the Nav system and a customer does not want it...it can be removed...or added.

Mercedes dealership did this for me as an aftermarket option and it was absolutely no problem.

My buddy had it installed by a friend of his who works at a MB dealership; cost him close to nothing for labor, but he bought the parts.
