At last it is mine!!! Muuuaawwww!!!
Handles beautifully. No problems with the "jerky" downshifting I've been hearing about - shifts smooth as butta. The interior seems so roomy after driving in it for over an hour on the way back today - and I'm 6'3" - visibility is perfect. The car is just amazing - I wish my rims had arrived today, but at last the lowering and rims will have to take palce on Monday or Tuesday - and boy does this car need to be lowered - I'm sure everyone's is a little different, but mine looks like a 4 x 4 when sitting flat. Got about 3-4 inches of gap on the 18's - gonna need to bring her down about 2 inches or so at least.
This car was so worth the wait though - and at night - just got in from driving it. I love the instrument cluster lighting. I just love everything about this car!!!! Anyhow, I will have an ear-to-ear grin on my face everytime I walk into my garage let me tell you. To everyone who already has their CLS and have been so passionate about this car on their posts, I totally understand why first hand now - and to those of you with one on order, are you in for a treat!!!

I'll keep posting pics as I do everything to it. I hopefully will have pics of the lowering and wheels by Tuesday or Wednesday and the first phase of the stereo by the 15th. The double-din Eclipse head unit I am waiting for doesn't come out until the end of April I think, so that will be the last part of the stereo experiment.
BTW, since I'm swapping out the entire stereo I just got the CLS with the stock stereo - not bad for a basic stereo - sound is actually really good.
I'll try to take some interior pictures today -
Here is a rundown of the options on it:
ash grey interior with Nappa leather
high gloss laurel wood
keyless go
parktronic
comfort package
lighting package
standard radio
AMG sport package
auto trunk closer

Very happy now with ordering the Ash/Gloss interior. By the way how did you end up with the black mats? Did you specify before ordering or did they throw them in when you picked it up? Thx.
Hmmm...making me think a little - I know Beverly Hills Mercedes warranties all of the work Reus Audio does, but a head unit swap is a good question. Grrrr...I already hate Mercedes service - I hate to give them ammo. Tell me your story when you have some time and thanks so much for the info.
