Remove the speed limit (TV/DVD)

Will remove the speed limit of TV/DVD, a 20 min job as I was told, simple and fast.

Has anyone done it before ?

I'm not sure do you referring to the euro comand DVD in motion? If so, yes I think there is an option there that enables something like 20 MPH the TV/DVD will stop playing. But the MB Star diag can easily disable that function. MBenzNL did it for me for less than 20 mins. Btw, I highly recommend a remote and it is a full function remote that the rear passenger can easily control the comand and you can concentrate the road.

I have the DVD in motion turned on in my 2006 CLS500. Im thinking I may actually put back in the US version and install satellite radio; call me crazy.

Any comand should work. But if you have euro comand like me, then your rear passenger can stop/fast forward/backward the DVD. Also, if you have phone hook up then the passenger can dial the phone using this and speak thru speaker phone like Teleaid. But one thing I found the most important is I don't need to pull over to key in the nav address any more. The passenger can input the address to the nav screen in the rear seat now. Of course with all those mute, volume up/down and station functions as well. The bottom line is all you can do with the comand now the rear passenger can do it for you via this remote. I got mine from MBenzNL, scorchile in SF.
