custom wood/leather steering wheel

Found a local leather shop, they offer all kinds of S/W
Happen to have a sample from SL (carbon/leather),
took my S/W apart for a 10 day work, they lend me that sample to keep my daily driving.

the factory wood/leather S/W is a smooth one,no grip.
I asked to make finger grip around the up/down of the wood part.

The dealer just help me putting on the sample SL wheel for temparary use in the next 10 days.
that wheel doesn't equip with touch shift buttons, so I lose all the S/W button & horn function this moment.
no error msg on the panel so far.

Will post pic when the wood/leather with finger grip wheel been done.

10 exactly working days !
Received & installed the wood/leather steering wheel tonight.
The finger grip was made around the wood part as I asked, touch shift & all buttons work fine.

Waiting for the Carlsson kits but it takes another 2 months from now on.

Sample of his work

Previously I had AGLA 800.780.4500 ask to speak to Diane (located in Florida) do My 996TT (thicken, stitching w/ carbon) they charged me aroung $332 +s&l plus they offer a loaner wheel (amazing work by these guys)

Shine,

What color interior do you have? Cashmere beige? Is it the steering wheel wood little bit shiny compare to your interior wood or just the picture? Is it a thicker grip?

Thanks,
hlkc

Black interior, the custom s/w is a little shiny than the high gloss laurel trim.
It looks exactly like the shown pics, color & size but embeded grip around.

Thanks in advance,
hlkc
