CLS SUCKS!!! TRADED IT IN FOR 645ci
Question: how many CLS500's or 55 AMG's do you see on the road?...answer: few, if any.
I live/work/breathe NY and mine is the only one I've ever seen. Again, count the number of BMW 645's compared to CLS AMG's...the ratios are about 25:1. Also, talk to the Tri-State MB dealers (I know all, if not most of them) and ask how many they have in inventory and how many they've sold. Answer?: not many at all and if you spread that number of cars across the 5 boroughs and 1000's of cars out there on the road, you will find very few indeed (teenage spy car magazine citings do not count!) :p

I know I'm not the only one out there, just one of the priveleged few :v

I've also learned that ANY car out there can have a problem and yes (shock of shocks!) there are lemons for ALL car manufacturers. I had my old Porsche 911 C4 cab perform like a champ for 4 years without a single serious problem, traded it in for the newest 996/911 and was plagued with problems from the second week through month four, at which point I traded it in for my new baby, aka the CLS.

i know the 645 is definitely more common than the CLS for now, but MB of Sugar Land, a relatively small dealership, has 3 CLS500's for sale right now.

. My interpretation is that the 645 is 50 yr old's idea of a sports coupe. At least the CLS is just a good looking stylish sedan. It also drives pretty well for a sedan. I'm trying to persuade my old man to join the MB camp and get one.
The I-drive is not that bad once you get used to it. But I prefer the MB system. Browsing the menu in the i-drive takes some time, it's easier and faster pressing buttons IMO..
So you find one of 10 individuals in agreement with you and you celebrate that fact?
just get it through your fat skull, the cls is not a rare car, end of story.
p.s. any idea how many CLS's each dealership gets in inventory?
A towtruck.
What do you call the shock absorbers inside a BrokenBenz's CLK?
Passengers.
BrokenBenz's CLK has an air bag. When you sense an impending accident, start pumping real fast.
BrokenBenz went to a dealer the other day and said, "I'd like a gas cap for my CLK." The dealer replied, "Okay. Sounds like a fair trade."
How can you get BrokenBenz's CLK to do 60 miles an hour?
Push it over a cliff.
:p
