HID foglamp help

Can someone tell me the bulb size for the factory foglamps? Also if there is a shield on the bulb or is it open? I am trying to order some HID's for a friend of mine for his cls. If any of you guys can post some pictures of your car if you have HID fogs that would also help. Thanks.

H11 for the for and no there is no cover. Straight up install should take about an hour to do bought sides. Should the lights flicker after the install then it needs to be reprogammed. Follow the link below I did a write up on it for the install.

Thanks. One more question. Is there any glare from the HIDs?

What glare are you referring too? Light scatter?

Light scatters if the kelvin rating of the bulb is to high. My advice to avoid light scatter is to go with 4300K this is the brightest HID setup you can get. The light doesn't scatter all over the place. Anything above 6000K is overkill, light will not be concentrated it starts to scatter all over the place. Don't get bulbs that has the blue hue cus it doesn't do squat for you. Bright to look at but almost no light projection in front of the car when driving at night. I use to have 7500k on my other car took it off the next day cus my stock setup was projecting more light. If your friend wants to do the headlights it takes an H7 and get the 6000K rating bulb. The effect of these combo is unreal it's like daylight when driving at night. Goodluck with the mods chief keep us posted.
